Refund and Return Policy

At Backcountry Sportsman, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we're here to help.

Returns

  • We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.
  • Some items cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons (e.g., certain camping gear, personal-use items). Please check the product page for return eligibility.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact our customer support at support@backcountrysportsman.com with your order number and details about the item you wish to return.
  2. We’ll provide instructions and a return authorization if eligible.
  3. Pack the item securely and ship it to the address we provide.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases of our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).

Exchanges

  • We do not offer direct exchanges. To get a different item, please return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at support@backcountrysportsman.com with photos. We’ll make it right at no extra cost.

International Returns

  • We accept returns from the United States, Canada and International Countries.
  • International customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees.
